Rosie is a female cockatiel who came into care underweight and badly injured, with two swollen eyes, a wound on her head, and limping.
She has undergone extensive vet work, including radiographs, blood testing, DNA sexing, Chlamydia testing, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatories.
Thanks to the care of our team at Don’t Go Astray Inc., Rosie is now recovering well and has put weight back on!
She is very happy and sociable despite her health issues which we are still treating. The cost of her vet work so far has been $630 so we are hoping to raise some funds to recoup some of it.
