RICHARD

UPDATE: Richard has now found his FOREVER home with a brother Moo who also has FIV! They play non stop together and have really bonded well.

Looking for a cat companion? Little ‘Richard The Lionheart’ is your guy!

The absolute best in feline companionship, Richard was found roaming the streets and brought into the clinic. He was bathed, loved, fed up, given a dental, all his vaccinations, microchipped so his future family will never be without him, and was given the great ‘fix’ up (sterilisation). A life on the streets unfortunately led to his status as FIV+, but that doesn’t slow him down! It’s really not a big deal, and he will lead a predominantly normal life, it just means he needs to be kept indoors as the only cat in your home.

Richard found a home previously, but it just wasn’t meant to be. He is a real gentleman! Beautiful and sweet, with a chilled out and loving temperament, but unfortunately the dog of the home took a negative interest in him and he was returned for his own safety! With a slow introduction and close supervision, Richard could fit into a home with a placid, cat minded dog, that won’t pay him too much attention.

At this home he was very loved, a total spoilt lap cat, he was returned with a chunky belly, collar (and don’t you think it compliments his eyes?!), and all the essentials for owning a kitty (toys, litter tray, carrier, bed, scratchies, treats, and… a harness and leash which he loves!!), which can all go with him to his new home.

Richards two favourite things are cuddles and food! He sounds pretty perfect really, doesn’t he? If you’d like to meet and potentially give Richard a loving home, please contact us. He would make someone a great family pet or study buddy or first cat, but most of all, a best friend!!
