Mia was in an unfortunate fight with another guinea pig, resulting in severe damage to her left eye.
She was surrendered to a vet hospital who reached out to us for care.
The eye was damaged beyond repair, and very painful, so it needed to be removed urgently.
Mia is recovering very nicely from her surgery and is being the goodest girl for her medications! She is rewarded with a piece of capsicum each time which she gets so excited for!
Mia has made friends with another guinea pig in care so once they have both completed all their vet work, they will be looking for a home together
